The current requirement for practicing membership of the CPSC is that collaborative members complete a mediation course and collaborative practice training.
The Mediation Centre of Simcoe County is running the first mediation training course with a focus on collaborative practice. This course will satisfy the mediation requirement for Collaborative Practice practicing membership, and also qualifies as a standard 40 hour mediation training. As a practicing member, you can be profiled on the website. Even though it is not mandatory for Collaborative members to have domestic violence training ...this course will also provide one day of Domestic Violence theory.
To make the course accessible to busy professionals, the course is divided into two three day periods:
The first three days of training will be on February 29th, March 1 and 2nd, 2012. Cost $750.00 per person + HST.
The next 3 days (includes 1 day domestic abuse theory) will be March 27th and 29, 30th 2012. Cost $750.00 per person + HST.
