Domestic Violence

Two day domestic violence course as related to family mediation/arbitration:

  • techniques for screening abuse and power imbalances
  • safety measures including safe termination
  • effect of abuse on family members
  • styles of mediation – use of co-mediation or caucus
  • working with conditions set out by the court
  • support of legal counsel or advocate
  • guest speakers
  • required for internship and accreditation and arbitration

Cost is $575.00 plus HST.

Note: A non-refundable deposit of $100.00 is required no later than 4 weeks prior to training date.
This deposit will secure your space – full payment due 2 weeks prior.

We accept cheques or until the website is secure – you can call the Centre (1705-725-7020) and give Clare your credit card information over the phone.
