The Mediation Centre provides an Information and Resource Coordinator (IRC) at the Family Law Information Centre (FLIC). The FLIC has 3 components 1. Legal Aid advice lawyer 2. IRC for resources and 3. court staff to assist with process.
Our IRC will provide you with information on issues related to Separation and Divorce, Community Resources for adults and children, Subsidized Mediation and Mandatory Information Programs (MIP). They will help clients determine their needs and suggest referrals to community agencies/services and information sessions.
The FLIC is open with a Coordinator available in:
- Barrie (by the Family Court Office) – 9:00 to 3:30 Monday to Friday 705-739-6446
- Bracebridge (by the criminal court) – 9:00 to 11:00 on Tuesday and Friday 705-645-8793
- Orillia (at the Family Court office) – 2:00 to 5:00 on Tuesday 705-326-2671
