The FLIC had 3 components 1. Legal Aid advice lawyer  2. IRC for resources in your community and 3. Court staff to assist with process.  

Our IRC (Information and Referral Coordinator) will provide you with information on issues related to Separation and Divorce, Community Resources for adults and children, Subsidized Mediation and Mandatory Information Programs (MIP).  They will help clients determine their needs and suggest referrals to agencies and services available in Simcoe County and Muskoka.

Family Law Information Centre (FLIC) are in some courthouses. Bracebridge  – Friday morning, Orillia 1rst & 3rd Thurs 9-3pm, Barrie – Tuesday and Thursday 9-3pm.

However, there are advice counsel available in courts with the following schedule: Collingwood 1rst Thursday 9-11am, Midland 1rst Thursday 1-3pm.
